Purpose
Krat13 is for personal, lawful, non-commercial use by individuals to manage their own record collections. This Policy keeps the Service safe, lawful, and affordable, and protects the third-party services we rely on (some of which we pay for per request). It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
General prohibitions
You must not use the Service to:
- violate any law or any third party's rights;
- engage in fraud, deception, or other unlawful or harmful activity;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights, or upload content you have no right to use;
- store or share illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, or violent content;
- process health (HIPAA), payment-card (PCI-DSS), educational (FERPA), or other specially regulated data, for which the Service is not intended;
- impersonate any person, send spam, or violate export-control or sanctions laws.
Security & integrity
You must not, or attempt to:
- reverse engineer or derive the source code of the Service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent free-tier limits, Pro entitlement checks, Apple App Attest, rate limits, or any security or access-control measure;
- probe or test the Service's vulnerability, or breach any security measure;
- introduce malware or disrupt the Service or our backend;
- access the Service or backend through unofficial or automated means.
Fair use of our backend & third-party services
Our backend brokers access to services that cost us money and impose rate limits. You must not:
- generate excessive or automated request volumes, or place undue load on our backend or any provider;
- use the Service to evade any provider's rate limits, quotas, or terms;
- scrape, harvest, redistribute, or build a competing dataset from data obtained via the Service;
- use the Service as a general-purpose proxy, or resell/sublicense access.
AI features
In addition to our AI Usage Policy, you must not attempt model extraction, submit prompt-injection or jailbreak inputs, generate unlawful or infringing content, or rely on AI output for significant decisions without independent human verification.
Enforcement & reporting
Where permitted by law and proportionate, we may warn, throttle, restrict, suspend, or block a device or attestation key, remove offending content, and/or terminate access — consistent with your mandatory consumer rights.
